Our consortium held its second annual Community & Business Partners' Event on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at historic Santa Monica Pier's Pacific Park. The tented event at the park's Seaside Pavilion was well attended by business and community leaders and liaisons, and afforded an opportunity for SMC and SMMUSD faculty, staff, and administrators to showcase the work of the consortium over the past year, to raise awareness about our tuition-free programs, and to continue dialogue on how best to connect our region's public services and employment opportunities with our adult learner population of 18+ working age adults.
